On December 1, 1995, incorporation was continued under the Quebec Companies Act and the Company’s name was changed from "Continental Copper Mines Limited" to "Continental Resources Ltd."

In 2001, C2C decided to discontinue exploration of a bauxite deposit in the state of Orissa in India. Recently, C2C signed a letter of intent to acquire a 50% of the rights to the Bella Rica Gold Mine including underground, surface assets and current gold mine production.

C2C intends to continue its growth through sound choices in partnerships, property acquisitions and project developments in America, in order to become an important intermediate gold producer.

This opening on the world is a reflection of the vision of C2C to project itself at the international level, where opportunities are most advantageous and best protected.
